IMPROVISATION WORKSHOP 9 - 16 July

Open to all instrumentalists and singers.
"A jazz musician, when asked to explain the difference between
composition and improvisation in ten seconds, replied: For ten seconds
of composition, you have all the time in the world. For ten seconds of
improvisation, you have exactly .... 10 seconds"
The improvisation course, which can take place in groups or individual lessons,
aims to awaken the musical imagination between creation, interpretation
and arrangement, as well as to broaden the skills to understand music as
a living thought.
We will create soundscapes that resemble film music. You will explore all
the possibilities of your instrument, and above all you will connect with
the source of your creativity.
Depending on your desires, we will also explore methods of
improvisation in different styles such as blues, folk, medieval music and
minimal music. In this sense we will use different techniques (playing
by chords, on a bass line, with a modal scale, polyrhythms...).
Improvisation fits perfectly into AKDT's concept of involving beginners
and advanced players alike. So be very welcome to join us on this
musical journey. My personal wish is that this workshop will act as a
divining rod to find the source of your inspiration, to let your creativity run
free.

"Ein Jazzmusiker antwortete auf die Bitte, den Unterschied zwischen
Komposition und Improvisation in zehn Sekunden zu erklären: Für zehn
Sekunden Komposition haben Sie alle Zeit der Welt. Für zehn Sekunden
Improvisation haben Sie genau ... zehn Sekunden"
Der Improvisationskurs, der in Gruppen oder im Einzelunterricht stattfinden
kann, will die musikalische Vorstellungskraft zwischen Kreation, Interpretation
und Arrangement wecken sowie die Fähigkeiten erweitern, Musik als
lebendigen Gedanken zu begreifen.
Wir werden Klanglandschaften erschaffen, die Filmmusiken ähneln. Ihr
werdet alle Möglichkeiten Eures Instrumentes erkunden, und Euch
vor allem mit der Quelle Eurer Kreativität verbinden.
Je nach Euren Wünschen werden wir uns auch mit Methoden der Improvisation
in verschiedenen Stilen wie Blues, Folk, mittelalterlicher Musik und
minimalistischer Musik befassen. In diesem Sinne werden wir verschiedene
Techniken anwenden (Spiel nach Akkorden, auf einer Basslinie improvisieren,
modalen Tonleitern anwenden, Polyrhythmen...).
Die Improvisation passt perfekt in das Konzept der AKDT, Anfänger und
Fortgeschrittene gleichermassen einzubeziehen. Seid also herzlich willkommen,
Euch auf diese musikalische Reise zu begeben. Mein ganz persönlicher
Wunsch ist es, dass dieser Workshop wie eine Wünschelrute wirkt, um die
Quelle Eurer Inspiration zu finden, um Eurer Kreativität freien Lauf zu lassen.

ich mich traue und sogar Spaß daran habe! Außerdem führt Improvisation auch

wir alle zusammen improvisierten, denn diese Momente der kollektiven

"Un musicien de jazz a répondu à la demande d'expliquer la différence entre composition et improvisation en dix secondes : "Pour dix secondes de composition, vous avez tout le temps du monde. Pour dix secondes d'improvisation, vous avez exactement ... dix secondes"
Le stage d’improvisation qui peut se dérouler en groupe ou en cours individuel, veut réveiller l'imaginaire musical entre création, interprétation et arrangement ainsi qu’élargir les capacités d’appréhension de la musique en tant que pensée vivante. Nous allons créer des paysages sonores, proches des musiques cinématographiques. Vous allez approfondir votre relation avec votre instrument en explorant toutes ses possibilités et vous allez surtout vous connecter à votre propre source de créativité.
Selon vos souhaits, on abordera aussi des méthodes d’improvisation dans des styles différents comme le blues, le folk, la musique médiévale et la musique minimaliste. Dans ce sens nous utiliserons différentes techniques (jeu selon des accords, sur une ligne de basse, avec une gamme modale, des rythmes polyphoniques...)
L’improvisation entre parfaitement dans le concept de l’AKDT de brasser les musiques sur tous les niveaux. Alors soyez les bienvenues si vous avez envie d’apprendre à jouer à partir de vos propres inspirations. Mon souhait très personnel est que cet atelier agisse comme une baguette de sourcier pour trouver la source de votre inspiration, afin qu'elle laisse libre cours à votre créativité

« Sachez que ça m'a énormément plu car j'ai toujours eu peur de ça, et maintenant je sens que j'ose et que je prends même du plaisir ! De plus, l'improvisation mène à la composition également, et pour mon groupe c'est très utile ;-) Ce que j'ai adoré c'est quand on devait improviser toutes ensemble car j'avais vraiment ce sentiment de partage et d'écoute entre nous. De plus, ces moments d'impro collective généraient une sorte de transe que je trouvais vraiment intéressante, comme si on ne voulait pas que ça s'arrête. »
« J'ai particulièrement aimé la dernière improvisation Blues, j'ai vraiment compris quel schéma utiliser pour composer une pièce dans ce style. »
« En quelques séances à peine, j'ai appris énormément, et maintenant, il m'arrive parfois d'improviser un peu pour le plaisir. J'ai vraiment apprécié le fait que le sujet soit à chaque fois différent car ça a permis de découvrir un grand nombre de choses. J'attendais avec impatience chacune de nos rencontres...
