for beginners, avanced and professionals. Music theory, Singing / Songwriting and Classical, Folk, Jazz and World Music.
Individual lessons on a regular basis can be taken in Belgium, Brussels @ Harp Center Brussels -www.harpcenterbrussels.com or
@ Fleurus, ferme de Martinrou. As Maria often travels to Germany, she can give lessons or workshops there on request.
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS: If you are a pupil of the Harp Center Brussels you can benefit from the subscriptions per semester. The price for a lesson of 45 minutes then varies between 28€ and 32€. The fee for a lesson "à la carte" is 35€.
LODGING: There is the possibility to lodge at the Harp Center Brussels if you want to register for several days of lessons. (Per night 30€, plus 10€ per night for an acoompanying person, plus 20€ cleaning fee.)
CONTENTS: Explore your own creativity so that your personal colour and flair can be heard in all your playing. Whatever is your formation or style in music, this workshop will enlarge your technical and creative skills for a journey that gives you access to Jazz, Pop, composing and improvisation.
We will work on :
-Your own repertoire or pieces that Maria Palatine will propose
-An introduction to « The Mystery of Creativity »
- Methods how to come from your personnel inspiration to a concrete artistic result
(composition, song, improvisation,…)
- How to read and play chord changes
- Accompaniment patterns for the left hand
- Melodic ornaments, respective to the style you play
- Rhythmic solidness
- New dampening technics
-Listening and analyzing pieces you like
By the individual work, the level of each participant will be respected.
Maria Palatine speaks English, French, German and a bit of Spanish.
