Maria Palatine

Ricardo Arenhaldt

Julio Rizzo
November Land is the current project of harpist, singer and composer Maria Palatine. Together with Brazilian musicians Ricardo Ahrenheidt (percussion) and Julio Rizzo (trombone), she presents a chamber-music-based ensemble with an open, genre-crossing approach.
The repertoire consists of original compositions situated between contemporary chamber music, new folk, songwriting and jazz influences. At its core is the harp as both a solo and dialogic instrument, complemented by voice, trombone and percussion.
The multilingual works (German, French, English, Spanish) unfold in a clear, often cinematic dramaturgy. Improvisation and compositional structure are carefully balanced, creating a fluid and narrative sound space.
Maria Palatine, harpist of the third generation, is internationally active as a soloist and composer. After completing her classical studies in Mannheim, she developed an individual artistic profile and has performed throughout Europe, Russia and the USA.
Her work is internationally recognized as stylistically distinctive, combining virtuosity, sonic exploration and narrative composition.
